Vintage Quine are very proud to reveal The Lisa-Rose Robe, a bespoke vintage inspired robe designed and hand made exclusively for us. Quine Lisa owned a vintage dressing robe many years ago and loved the design. You can see her wearing it here while she is getting ready on her wedding day, 29 years ago!

In collaboration with Rose’s Wardrobe, this talented independent Scottish small business have taken the design and created our own version. It can either be worn as vintage nightwear or layered up as a glamorous evening coat.

These robes were inspired by one from the 1920s/30s in a beautiful floral print. Emma put her print design experience to good use and recreated the print, capturing the rich colours and vintage style. Leanne analysed the fit of the original robe and developed a pattern which mimicked it’s flowy, comfortable fit.

The fabric used is an organic cotton, printed with toxin-free, water based ink. By digitally printing, we use 40% less energy than traditional methods. For the final products, our small team individually cut each fabric piece and carefully constructed the robes by hand. We added side pockets and French seams to ensure the most luxurious finish.

Our aim as a fashion brand is to develop and manufacture high-quality vintage-inspired garments with as small an environmental impact as possible. Our team of three work in a small studio in Langholm, Scotland where we pour our hearts into everything we make.
